WOW!!
It’s up, it’s running and it’s a HIT! For the last few months and several flyers to boot, we’ve been touting our over-hauled HO3 Program known as “The Platinum.” Many of you were anxious to see it in action and now that it’s out and available for issuance, you’ve responded in record numbers!! The rate is exactly what we said it would be, INSANELY LOW! We bumped up some coverages, lowered the base rates, gave you more options. If you don’t have Statewide as your top company for homeowners, you are going to be kicking yourself for years to come. Not only is the coverage and the price right, the issuance and ease of writing a policy are “hands down” the best out there. Time and time again, producers tell us that we have the best programs, the best service and the biggest selection to choose from than any other company. Friends, if you’ve been reading and hearing about it yet doing nothing to try it; we want to make you an offer. . . $10 in CASH just for issuing a policy online. That’s $10 for every Platinum HO3 you issue in your office. We’re so positive that you’ll love writing your homeowners with us that we’re doubling our normal incentive! It’s only for a few months so take advantage while you can. $10 for a few minutes of your time is a no-brainer. Call Kyle Hammontree (x940) if you don’t have a User ID and Password and he’ll get you set up right away. It’s time. (All States)
Looking for leaks in your E&O safeguards? Here’s one more thing you may want to keep in mind; occupied structures becoming vacant. There is a growing concern among insurance agents that their E&O may be exposed if an insured’s home or commercial property becomes vacant and the company on the risk isn’t notified in time. Most property policies have a vacancy clause of 30 to 60 days. If a claim arises after that period, no coverage may be afforded and could leave the agent exposed on their E&O policy. A simple letter to the insured outlining this vacancy clause may be just what the doctor ordered. This letter should state that if a claim arises and the structure rated as an occupied unit is vacant, the claim may be denied. Remember, if the property does become vacant, Statewide has a program just for you. Within minutes we can secure coverage for your vacant structures giving you peace of mind knowing that your insured is well taken care of. We’ll take care of you. Don’t get caught without coverage! Call Dan Braude (x944) for your commercial vacancies, or Kyle Hammontree (x940) for your residential vacancies. At Statewide, we’ve got your back. (All States)
Only in America could a letter offering a million dollar prize be considered junk mail.
It’s Changing Out There. . .
We’ve all talked about it and hope it would come soon. At Statewide we’re happy to report some good news. Contracting risks are picking up! How do we know? Our world famous “Rapid Raters” are coming in from all directions and a majority of them are contracting risks. And why not? The program is simple to use, it’s well priced and ANYONE can do it! Anyone who’s a Statewide Producer, that is. If you’re getting this newsletter, YOU are one of the chosen! We want you to know that the artisan contracting business is picking up and we’re here to help. From Electricians to Handymen, our self-raters are first class. Would you like a tour? Why not call your favorite commercial underwriter and have them walk you through the easy and well-priced ‘Rapid-Rater?” It only takes a couple of minutes and we’re all glad to do it. Better yet, have our marketing man, Dave Ranes, come out and show your entire staff how simple it can be? We’re very proud of this baby and just want you to know that business is picking up. Our Rapid Raters don’t lie! (All States)

On The Horizon. . .
Statewide is always improving itself, bringing you new products you’ve told us you need. In the coming months look for the following new programs being created in the mental labs of our underwriting and administrative guru’s:
- Home Business Coverage: Perfect for that homeowner running a business from the comforts of home. It’ll help cover the GL and Property exposures that may come up short in their homeowners coverage.
- Multi-Home Plan (aka: The Landlord’s Policy): This bad boy is for that insured or bank that owns several homes and needs coverage for all of them but only wants one policy. No reporting whether vacant or occupied either! We’re working on a blended rate for both!
- Renters: Yes, finally! Due to popular demand and the changes in our market, there are more renters out there then ever. We’re trying to come up with a plan that works for all of us. Give us your input. We’d LOVE to hear from you!
If you can think of any other product that you’d like us to look into, we’d be more than happy to talk with you. Let us know what the demands are out there or what seems to be popping up more and more in your agency. If we can help, we will!! (All States)
Money talks but all mine ever says is “goodbye.”
Ch . . . Ch . . . Ch . . . Changes
This market is moving fast. So are program and policy changes. In fact, we get updates from our companies all the time telling us about a new product they’re bringing on board or one they’ve decided to get back in to. What we may have said ‘No’ to last year could be a big ‘Yes’ this year. So, don’t ever count us out of the game. We’d like for you to check with us on everything that comes across your desk. We may surprise you more often than not! It’s as simple as shooting an email over to your favorite underwriter or picking up the phone to see if we’re a player or not. At Statewide we have that ‘Never Say Die’ attitude and are always pushing the envelope when it comes to risk selection. You need to write it just as much as we want to write it. So, let’s get together on the phone or computer more often and see what’s new in the neighborhood! (All States)
