Well, we finally got the “Green Light” from our carrier in Arizona to write the very popular Pest Control class! This class of business was suspended a while back due to an awkward and unacceptable certificate of insurance that was forced on us by the Pest Control Board. The Board has finally come to its senses and created a fair and comprehensive certificate that we have adopted and put into play. What does that mean for you? It means that you can now write Exterminators in Arizona again!! When we were writing Pest Control, we had a great rate and tons of business on the books. Retirement is something most of us only dream about, but Milli Underwood, our Statewide Preferred Senior Underwriter, is making it her reality. After many years in the insurance industry, Milli has decided to hang up her Statewide hat and move to her retirement property in Texas to spend quality time with her husband, Bill and her dog and cat. We’ve all put money down that she won’t stick to the rocking chair for long. One thing is for certain; she will be sorely missed here at Statewide and Arizona sushi supplies will once again be replenished. But woe for Texas because Milli’s coming to town and things won’t ever be the same. In all seriousness, we’ll miss her terribly but sincerely wish the very best for her and hope that she stays in touch with us as much as possible. Her last day is June 13th, so if you get the chance, give her a call and wish her well. For those of you wondering who to contact in her place, we have assigned her policies to Chet Garry, Fawn Reed and Dan Braude. Of course the lovely and talented Bobbie Taylor will also still be available for the self-raters and any other questions you may have! All that being said. . . We’re really going to miss you, Milli!!
