Convention Time!
This is just a reminder that Statewide has a booth at TWO Arizona conventions this year. The first convention is the Arizona Independent Insurance Agents Convention, August 27th at The Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa. The exhibit hall will be open on the 27th from 2 pm – 7: 30 pm. The second convention is the Arizona Agents Alliance Convention at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler September 8th & 9th. Their exhibit hall will be open on the 9th from 2 pm to 6 pm. We will have lots of goodies to give away as well as a couple of door prizes. It’s a LOT of fun, a great chance to meet your underwriters and a unique networking opportunity. You’ll learn a lot about us and other companies out there plus have a bag of goodies to take home! Wow! Our Multi-Home Program has really taken off!! Better than we ever expected, too! Once you try this “one-of-a-kind” program you’ll be hooked. We’ve asked one of our best carriers to allow us to put multiple homes owned by one individual or corporation on just one policy. We also asked that the insured be allowed to remove the vacancy clause so they won’t have to worry if one of their properties suddenly becomes vacant. Or leave the vacancy clause in and get an even LOWER rate! Now they can insure all their homes with one policy and one expiration date. All you have to do is add or delete them like you would an auto policy and then let us take care of the rest. No, you don’t have to complete an application for each home, nor do you have to get inspections and photos. Just tell us a few bits of info on the property and we’ll add it to the policy and bill it to the insured accordingly. Can it be any easier? Guess you’ll just have to try it yourself, huh? We are inundated with questions and requests for Work Comp Coverage. Let’s just take a moment to qualify what our limited market can do and what you need to know before you submit a work comp risk. First, most every class we can write will need to have at least 2 years experience in work comp. There are VERY few classes that can be new ventures. Examples include Office/Clerical exposures, Barber/Beauty Shops, Laundry/Dry Cleaning, limited Restaurants and limited Motel classes. Next, we’ll need a completed ACORD application with the General Information and Work Comp sections as well as any loss runs you may have. Once that is done, we’ll do our VERY BEST to get you a quick quote. Yes, it’s direct bill and payment plans are indeed available. But remember, it’s a tough market out there and our carrier is particular in what they will insure. So don’t be discouraged if we can’t write everything that comes across your desk.
